Meet Apostle John Gordon
(Host and Founder, Tabernacle of Praise Int'l)
Apostle John Gordon is an apostolic leader with over 40 years of ministry, rooted in Cape Town and reaching into nations. Together with his late wife Pastor Sharon Gordon, they founded the Tabernacle of Praise Int'l church in Parow.
From street preacher at age eight to founder of a multi-campus ministry across South Africa and beyond, his life reflects unwavering faith and Kingdom legacy. A worship pioneer, builder, and father, Apostle John leads with conviction, resilience, and a mantle to restore. Having endured great personal loss and still pressing forward, he carries an assignment to expand the work of God from Cape Town to the nations—with Jesus Christ as the Chief Cornerstone.

In December 2024, The Grow Gathering®, in partnership with Beaunity by Grace and Tabernacle of Praise Int'l, led a boots-on-the-ground Christmas initiative in Parow, Cape Town in honor of the late Pastor Sharon Gordon. Together, we supplied essential food, hygiene, and household provisions to 100 families, packed to sustain them for weeks—and brought joy to over 150 children with hand-delivered toys. Apostle E blessed the church and the community virtually with an on-time and needed word. It was Kingdom in action. Tangible. Timely. Transformational.
Because restoration is not just a word—it’s an action.
